Even though I’ve been your basic freelance mystic (without ties to organized religion) for many years, my nature has a strong practical streak. 
Maybe it’s because I come from a long line of farmers, pioneers and teachers.
Or maybe it’s because I have five planets in Virgo, the down-to-earth, service-oriented sign of the zodiac.
For whatever reason, I prefer practical spiritual guidance that inspires and supports me in what passes for real life these days.
If you, too, delight in practical spirituality, you may feel as thrilled as I was while reading Edwene Gaines’ “The Four Spiritual Laws of Prosperity.”
The book begins with Edwene’s zesty account of how she got from struggling to feed herself and her daughter to becoming the powerhouse minister and businesswoman she is today; and goes on to lay out the four spiritual laws of prosperity that got her there.
She writes with plenty of humor and lots of stories, as she steers you through a simple, do-able program to integrate the four laws into your daily life.
One of my favorite things about Edwene’s approach is that, rather than guru-speaking from On High, she’s down here in the trenches with the rest of us.
