Love and Money Magnet Tip of the Week

The Only Miracle You Will Ever Need

The “CoListen to Infinite Wisdomurse in Miracles” teaches us that the only miracle we ever need to pray for is the miracle of right perception.

Why is that?

As Dr. Wayne Dyer put it, “When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.”

This is how you do it:

  1. When you notice you’re feeling upset about something or someone, find a quiet place to sit.
  2. Close your eyes and say, “I’m feeling upset right now. It’s okay to feel like this. It’s a sign I’m not seeing the whole picture.”
  3. “Dear [insert the name of your Higher Power here], give me right perception of the matter now. Thank you! It is done, and so it is.”
  4. Sit quietly until something slides into your awareness that lets you to see the situation in a new light.
  5. Take a deep breath and allow your cells to assimilate your new understanding of the matter.

Notice how you feel when you think about the situation now.

Right Perception empowers you to keep moving forward, to stay in the present moment, and to see yourself and others as you really are.

How does praying for right perception make you a magnet for love and money?

With right perception, you gain insights like these:

  • The other person was just trying to get a need met; he or she never intended to hurt you. This helps you keep your heart open, which is essential if you want to attract love or money. To close your heart against anything closes you off from everything.
  • That agonizing break-up kept you from ending up with a person who was wrong for you in so many ways. This helps you have confidence that you can find lasting love – and nothing is more magnetic than confidence.
  • The decision you punished yourself for making worked out all right. This helps you trust yourself, which in turn helps you trust that Life, Love and Money are on your side.
  • That all-points disaster gave you the clean slate you needed to start fresh. This frees you to go out and build a life you love, one inspired step at a time.
  • This may be the wake-up call you need to leave a toxic relationship, freeing you to find love with someone who appreciates, respects and supports you.

Realizations like these help you effortlessly shed the shame, blame and guilt that undermine your efforts to attract the love and money that, deep down, you fear you don’t deserve.

You are already more abundant, more amazing, and more valuable than you have been able to perceive up until now.

Recognize that it’s time to stop waiting.

It’s time to stop waiting until you feel better …

Until you get organized …

Until you figure out the perfect action to take and when to take it.

My dear, I get it.

Waiting can feel so much safer than risking an action that might turn out badly.

And yet, trying to stand still in an ever-expanding universe can only end in tears.

As the great Marianne Williamson reminds us:

Maturity includes the recognition that no one is going to see anything in us that we don’t see in ourselves. Stop waiting for a producer. Produce yourself.

So, let’s concentrate on seeing that waiting is over; and feeling just fine about going forth to meet the Abundance that has been waiting for you … while you waited for it.

Would you like your Higher Power to show you:

  • It is time, and it is safe, for you to stop waiting now
  • It’s your turn for your needs to be met now
  • It’s your turn to have plenty of money now
  • It’s your turn to love and be loved now
  • It’s your turn to be happy and have fun now
  • It’s time to say “Yes” to the Love you are right now
  • It’s time to say “Yes” to all the Good that Life wants you to have

If this is okay with you, say “Yes” now, out loud or in your heart. Sense Infinite Love flooding your cells and lighting up your awareness in joyful ways.

Romance, Finance and Mom

If Mother’s Day is hard for you, I know the feeling.

I grew up thinking my mother was insane. She scared me senseless.

In self-defense I closed my heart, cutting myself off from Love of every kind.

As a teen-ager, I was told a long-ago head injury caused my mother’s inner chaos. But by then, my brain already stood firm in its belief that I must be unworthy of love – otherwise my mother would have loved me. That seemed only logical, so I lived as though it were true.

Several years ago, I realized my unforgiveness kept me locked in a victim mentality – which created more experiences of victimization.

So, I committed to forgiving my mother. None of the fake stuff that says, “I’ll forgive but I’ll never forget.”  I wanted the real thing, culminating in a heartfelt realization that there is nothing to forgive.

I got there, by the grace of God, and had the joy of seeing my relationship with my mother transform during the last years of her life on Earth.

If I could do it, you can do it, too.

To begin, you need to be only 1% willing to let your grievances slip into the past, where they belong.

Releasing resentment unlocks your power to co-create the Good you envision for yourself – and your Higher Power wants you to have.

You can do this all by yourself – but you don’t have to.

Love and Money Magnet Tip of the Week

Baby Steps to ForgivenessBaby steps from sandbox

If you have a hard time forgiving someone – yourself or anyone else – it’s okay.

A deep wound can be difficult to forgive because part of you wants to keep you safe by holding on to your grievance … completely unaware that warehousing your resentment only attracts more situations to feel resentful about.

Welcome to the dark side of the Law of Attraction ;-D

If you would like to stop doing that now, play with these baby steps if it feels like too much to forgive something or someone all at once.

  1. If you can’t forgive something, maybe you can accept that it happened. Acceptance doesn’t mean it’s okay with you, it just means you’re acknowledging that it happened.
  2. If you can’t accept that it happened, maybe you can bless the person or persons involved. Forget about forgiving them. Just bless them, or ask your Higher Power to bless them.
  3. If you can’t bless the person, maybe you can stop ill-wishing him or her. Mentally or verbally abusing the person keeps the wound fresh and engraves resentment on your brain’s circuitry.
  4. If you can’t stop ill-wishing the person, maybe you can let go of your urge for revenge. Physical, emotional, financial, or verbal violence only begets more violence.
  5. If you simply must avenge yourself, build a life you love, one inspired action at a time.

Why does forgiveness make you a love and money magnet?

When you close your heart against anything, you close it against everything. That is how it works, because you are One with All That Is, and All that Is, is One with you.

When you forgive, you open your heart to new love; your imagination to shiny new possibilities; your mind to brilliant new ideas and opportunities; and your hands to co-create and receive the Good your Higher Power wants you to have.

Do you feel funny about wanting money?

If you’ve gotten caught up in the idea that desiring money is shallow, sinful or somehow un-spiritual, financial security will elude you because your soul won’t allow it. Let’s lay that error to rest today, shall we?

Here is a quote from Rev. Michael Beckwith:

The pain pushes until the vision pulls.

Last week, we loosened your grip on the fear of lack of money.

That fear served a positive purpose – it motivated you to make money.

Trouble is, the anxiety that gets you on track to make money can also derail you by generating feelings of helplessness and hopelessness.

So, how can you can allow a vision to pull you instead of using pain to push yourself?

Consider this:

You want necessities like food, clothing and shelter.

You may also desire luxuries like a villa in Tuscany, the newest tech toys, or your own thriving business; not to mention writing big fat checks for causes close to your heart.

You need money to pay for these things, providing a positive motivation to make money: your passion to create a joyful and fulfilling life.

Ready to set that in motion right now?

Would you like your Higher Power to show you:

  • Why the True Source of money wants you to be prosperous
  • Why it’s okay for you to desire, and have, plenty of money
  • Why it’s safe for you to see an irresistible vision now that pulls you forward
  • Why it’s possible to get what you desire, even if you have never had it before
  • How to create plenty of freedom, love and money – all at the same time

If so, say “Yes” now, out loud or in your heart. Then sense Infinite Light flooding your cells and radiating throughout your entire body, being, and field of consciousness.

Dr Alan ChristiansonLately, I’ve been facing challenges like the passing of my parents, major surgeries and financial crisis … nothing worse than anyone else’s challenges, but they depleted me to the point where I could not be effective in the world.
